Mission Possible Peer Ministry

With God All Things Are Possible

Mission Possible is Central Catholic's student service organization. Lead by Mrs. Lisa Hunke and a leadership team of twelve students from the sophomore, junior, and senior class, Mission Possible Peer Ministry's mission is to serve in the name of Jesus. Throughout the school year, Mission Possible coordinates various service projects in our own parish and community such as Sunday School for St. Mary's, leaf raking for the elderly, seasonal parties for Guardian Angels preschool and student activities for elementary students celebrating Deanery Day during Catholic Schools Week.

In addition to performing service within our community of West Point, Mission Possible goes on a mission trip each summer to help neighbors in other areas. On the trips students help others in need using their God-given talents and skills. Projects vary from yard work, home improvement, child care, visiting the elderly and assisting the physically challenged and disadvantaged.

Mission Possible plans numerous fundraisers throughout the year to raise money for the summer mission trip. Annual fundraisers include: Cheer Clinic, Souper Bowl Sunday, and Mission Possible evenings at Pizza Ranch. Other fundraisers such as car washes, Christmas babysitting, and serving at local banquets are also planned.

Thank you to the Mission Possible parents, St. Mary's parishioners and the West Point community for generously supporting Mission Possible.
